Zoltan Kaszas George S. and Dolores Dore Eccles Theater Concert reviews
Very disappointed in Pentatonix and Target Center
This year we chose Zoltan Kaszas for our Christmas performance. It was a mistake. We want them to be queens for Christmas. We arrived at 6:15 and cleared security about 6:30. We went directly to our seats after stopping to purchase a beverage. We were seated on floor section 5. We were seated by 6:40. The performance was at 7:00pm per our ticket. By 7:50 pm the performance had still not started, and my mother-in-law was getting very uncomfortable from the folding chairs. At 8:00pm the performance started, and immediately the people in the rows in front of us stood up. Thay also proceeded to raise their arms and cell phones over their heads to video the performance. The people in front stood up throughout the performance. This was the most disappointing performance we have seen at Target Center. Zoltan Kaszas performed for 45 minutes, and then took a 30- minute break. When they returned the performed for another 45 minutes. Each year my wife and I take our elderly mothers (87 and 89) out to a Holiday performance, complete with a formal dinner and a limousine. This view was shared by our entire group. I'm not sure I will do this at Target Center again. I will choose another venue, and another performer.
